8“Abraham Martin and John” by Dion on the album, The Essential Dion. 8 Many people have made YouTube tributes using this classic folk song that focuses on three key men in US History.

8"Bugler's Dream and Olympic Fanfare"  by John WIlliams and Leo Arnaud on the album Summon the Heroes. 8 This fanfare, written by the same man who composed themes for Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and more, was used first in the 1984 Olympics, but continues to inspire during Olympic broadcasts.

8Land of Confusion by Disturbed from the album Ten Thousand Fists. 8 This song is a cover of the same song by the band Genesis. Pay close attention to these lyrics. Viewing the video for both versions is strongly encouraged, though the Disturbed version has violent content.

8“Spiderman” by the Ramones on the album, The Ramones – Greatest Hits Live. 8 This is a punk version of the classic superhero theme song. The video is fun too.

8“Travelin’ Soldier” by the Dixie Chicks, on their 2002 album Home. 8 Make sure you take in the lyrics of this song by the top selling female group in any genre. You may also find the video relevant and enlightening.

8“Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler from Beaches: The Original Soundtrack Recording. 8 If you’ve heard this award winning song before, try something else. If this is new to you, listen carefully.
