What are the school hours?
7:40 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. School doors open at 7 a.m. with a full cafeteria and close at 6 p.m. with full supervision.
Where is Bishop Feehan located?
It is located on a spacious 42 acre suburban campus in Attleboro, MA, within minutes of Routes 95, 295 and 495. Directions and a map are available.
How large is Bishop Feehan?
Bishop Feehan educates 1000 students with facilities that include 57 classrooms, 4 science laboratories, 4 computer laboratories, band/chorus room, Fine Arts center featuring an art gallery and computer lab, library, an auditorium, gymnasium, weight training rooms, athletic locker facilities, cafeteria, chapel, guidance center, campus ministry center, state of the art language lab, and administrative offices. The school grounds include athletic facilities for games and practice in football, soccer, baseball, softball, track, tennis and band. The campus also includes the Sisters of Mercy Convent, a Marian shrine, and ample parking for students and faculty.
Does Bishop Feehan provide transportation?
No, however, GATRA, a regional public bus service provides transportation to Bishop Feehan at a low cost. Attleboro residents are eligible for free transportation. The Rhode Island Public Transit School Pool service helps parents identify other parents who want to share the duties of driving their children to school and after-school activities. Information is available for bus options and car-pooling.
How secure is the campus?
Bishop Feehan is a very secure campus. School personnel and the Attleboro police are on patrol 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Is there a tutoring program?
Teachers are always available after school for students’ needs. All of the Honor Societies offer tutoring for students in all subjects. Honor societies include National, Art, French, Spanish, Latin, Science, and Music. All students receive SAT coaching in Grade 10 and 11.
Must a student be Catholic to attend Bishop Feehan?
No, however 90% of the student body is Catholic. Each student is expected to be an active worshipper in their church.
