Statistical Profile
The Class of 2013
The Class of 2013 consists of 287 students. 167 are female and 120 are male.
The class consists of 109 students from 14 Catholic elementary schools, 3 students from two private schools and 175 students from 26 public schools. We have 31 students from Rhode Island and 256 from Massachusetts. We have students from 27 towns.
103 (36%) members of the class have a brother or sister that attend Feehan or has attended. 47 (16%) of our students have parents who are graduates of Feehan and in some cases both of them are graduates.
Over 87% of these students have a B average or higher in middle school with 51% scoring 70% or higher on the entrance exam. More importantly we have tremendous students who did not score above 70% on the exam and are excellent students and very involved in their middle schools and community. Eleven students received merit aid and $400,000 of financial aid was given out to all Feehan students for the 2009-2010 school year.
The members of the Class of 2013 are all involved in their Parish, community and school. More importantly 50% of the families of these students are very involved in their parish as Altar Servers, Lectors, Parish Council members, Eucharistic Ministers and CCD Teachers.
