Record: Bishop Feehan 4-2
Skip Flanagan (2-1) was the hard luck loser, striking out 8 and giving up only one hit and one walk in 5 innings as Bishop Feehan dropped a tough one to Foxboro, 3-2. Brandon Cole had a hit and scored both Feehan runs and Flanagan added an RBI single. Garrett Briggs walked and stole second with two out in the top of the 7th, but Eric Periera lined sharply to centerfield to end the game. Tyler Martin pitched a hitless 6th inning with one strike out.

St. Raphael: Colette, Cesino (5), Nunez (6), and Gagnon.
Record: Bishop Feehan 2-1
3 Shamrock pitchers combined to throw a three-hit shutout and the defense didn’t commit an error, as Feehan downed St. Raphael’s, 3-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season. Tom Scannell pitched the first 5 innings to earn his first victory, while allowing just three hits and striking out 7. With no score in the bottom of the 5th, Scannell escaped a bases loaded jam with one out by getting a foul pop out, and then striking out the # 3 hitter. Skip Flanagan pitched a scoreless 6th, and also escaped a bases loaded jam by getting a strike-out on a full count for the 3rd out.
Feehan scored all three runs in the top of the 6th as Chris Milne led off with an infield hit. After Paul Dimascio walked, Feehan executed a double steal with runners on the corners and forced a throwing error; with Milne scoring the game’s first run. Brandon Cole knocked in Dimascio with a hard grounder down the 3rd base line and Skip Flanagan singled in Cole for the 3rd run of the inning.
Ryan Santos pitched the 7th for his first save of the year. Ryan made things interesting by walking the first three batters of the inning. Santos then struck out the St Ray’s # 3 hitter, and then coaxed the leadoff hitter into hitting into a 6-4-3 double play to end the game, which was turned by Milne and Captain Joe Paquette.
