Feehan French Exploration Program

Feehan Introduces French at St. John’s

The World Language Department at Bishop Feehan High School is proud to introduce their Explorations Program created to introduce French and the Francophone world to elementary school students at St. John’s in Attleboro.  During this year-long program, Feehan French student volunteers will visit Mr. Jay Hoyle’s 5th grade class 2 to 3 times a month with prepared French lessons and activities.  “Our basic objective is to breath new life into the study of French,” says Nancy Souliere, Spanish and French teacher at Feehan.  “Sister Mary Jane [principal at St. John’s], has been awesome too in welcoming us into her school as has Mr. Hoyle.”  Because of this program, St. John students will have exposure to both French and Spanish language studies.
