Partner School Early Action Program
Bishop Feehan is proud to introduce our Partner School Early Action (PSEA) Program. We believe it’s the first program of its kind in the area and hope it can be of great service to families and students from our closest Catholic partner schools.
Through our PSEA Program, 5th, 6th and 7th grade students at partner grammar schools can apply early and reserve a guaranteed spot in our freshman class one, two or three years down the road. Increasingly, we’ve been hearing from families that are leaving their local Catholic grammar schools out of a fear that – unless they head to high school early – they may not have a high school seat available in 9th grade. Our PSEA Program is designed to alleviate that concern.
Current Partner Schools include:
Blessed Sacrament School - Walpole, MA
Mercymount Country Day School - Cumberland, RI
St. Margaret School - Rumford, RI
St. Philip School – Greenville, RI
St. Mary’s School – Mansfield, MA
St. John the Evangelist School – Attleboro, MA
St. Mary-Sacred Heart School – North Attleboro, MA
Our Early Action application is easy! Students (families) complete a short application form and we ask that your Partner School submit transcripts and sign a recommendation form. That’s it.
Early Action acceptances are conditional on a student successfully remaining on a good path academically, behaviorally, and spiritually through the completion of their grammar school course of studies. In 8th grade, Early Action students must complete our traditional 8th grade application process (including entrance exam) to finalize the acceptance.
Our Early Action process opens this spring from April 1 – April 30. Decisions (early action acceptances) will be mailed by June 5 each year. Students in the spring of 5th, 6th and 7th grades are eligible. A $100 deposit (which will be applied to the eventual 8th grade deposit) is required to hold the spot once accepted.
Check back here on April 1 for a step-by-step application.
