Student Life

Sanctity, Scholarship and Sportsmanship, the three leaves of the Shamrock, are the guiding principles for life at Bishop Feehan High School. Feehan takes a holistic view of education, to include nurturing the spiritual, physical, intellectual, and artistic gifts of each student.

Feehan was founded to form a partnership with the families of the greater Attleboro area in educating young adults in the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church. Our Catholic tradition is the integrating point of our religious, academic and social lives. The Sisters of Mercy staffed our school from its inception and brought the Charism of Catherine McAuley to Feehan and future generations. Mother McAuley spoke of excellence, mercy and hospitality to all, and we have maintained this connection to our past along with its traditions. The rigorous curriculum, community service and campus ministry programs, as well as co-curricular and athletic offerings, focus on educating young adults about mercy, integrity, and compassion. Feehan accomplishes this development by creating a sense of community which nurtures and cares for individuals thus creating the "Feehan Family."

As the Vice Principals for Student Life, we have the opportunity to work with the entire school community in promoting the development of the whole self. In our role, we work closely with all the student organizations, activities and programs that take place outside of the classroom. It is our goal that each young adult graduates from Feehan having a sense of who they are, what potential they have, and how to engage their talents in fulfilling God's plan.

Sincerely,
