High School Entrance Exam (HSPT)
Bishop Feehan requires all 8th grade applicants to take a high school entrance exam. The HSPT is a nationally-recognized private school placement test/entrance exam. Our admissions panel employs a holistic approach in which test scores are just one factor of a larger comprehensive application review process.
8th Grade Students: Please register HERE using your Ravenna profile.
We invite 7th grade students to take a practice High School Entrance Exam at Bishop Feehan on either date. Please register HERE at least one week prior to exam date.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Test Dates: Saturday 11/23/24 OR Saturday 12/7/24
Test Fee: The test fee is $30.
Test Preparation: Families may wish to utilize this HSPT study guide or practice test to familiarize themselves with exam format and content.
Test Location: Students need only take one HSPT exam. It is strongly recommended that students interested in attending Bishop Feehan High School take the HSPT exam with us. In the event you choose to take the HSPT exam at another testing location, please complete the following steps:
- Provide Bishop Feehan with the testing location and date via email for inclusion in your student's application file
- Contact the testing school's admissions department and request that your test scores be shared with Bishop Feehan ([email protected]) as soon as possible
- When registering for HSPT, please request that scores be shared directly with you

Students testing in top percentile are eligible for Honors Pathway at Bishop Feehan.
