Gather - Liturgies & Ministries

Liturgy
Liturgy

The Church recognizes that the Eucharist is the "source and summit" of our faith lives.

  • The Feehan community gathers to celebrate Mass nearly every month during the Academic Year, beginning with the Mercy Day Liturgy in September and ending with the Closing Liturgy in June.

  • Students, faculty and staff participate as Servers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and Music Leaders.

  • Different community-wide prayer services are also offered for various occasions, such as the Lenten Reconciliation Service.

  • Weekly Communion Service is offered Thursday at 7:10am in the Chapel

  • PAWS (Praise, Adoration, Worship and Song) on Fridays at 7:15am in the Chapel

Campus Ministry
Campus Ministry

Our Campus Ministry Center, located in the Learning Commons in Mercy Hall is where we gather informally on a daily basis.  Students can come to the Campus Ministry center before school, after school or during their study periods. The Center is a comfortable setting where students are not always discussing faith but CAN always share faith, ask questions and prayer as a community. The Center also offers programming throughout the school year such as:

  • Tea on Tuesdays with Sr. Martha

  • Cards for our Senior Citizen Neighbors

  • Coloring and Quiet Time

  • Cocoa and Carols (Advent)

  • Lenten charitable drives

Joseph of Arimathea

For Seniors only. Gathers on an as-needed basis.

Responding to the charge of the Corporal Works of Mercy, the purpose of the ministry is to assist with the burial of unclaimed, indigent dead in the Attleboro area – people who die with no friends or family to be there for them. Funeral homes will occasionally get calls from the state government asking them to conduct a bare-bones funeral using state funds. When this happens, we send a small group of 6-8 of our seniors to assist with their burial.

Faculty Moderator: Mr. Greg Speidel

St. Vincent de Paul

Tuesday, 7:10am, Room 200

Committed to serving the poor and disenfranchised in the greater Attleboro area, this group coordinates the annual Santa Shop (seen below) which provides some 500 needy children with Christmas gifts, as well as other service projects.

Faculty Moderator: Deacon Joe McGinley
