Talented New Faculty and Staffers Join Feehan Team for 2020-21 School Year


Seven new teachers and three talented advancement staff members are ready to go, as Feehan kicked off the new school year on August 31st.

Vice Principal of Academics, Mrs. Anne Kennedy, is proud to introduce six newcomers to our teaching staff:

Kendra Adams joins the Mathematics Department. She earned a BA. in Mathematics from Stonehill College, is an active volunteer at St. Teresa's in Pawtucket, and has worked in a range of local schools, most recently Canton High School.

Giselle Gomez will join the World Language Department. She earned degrees in Education and Spanish Language & Literature from Villanova and spent a semester at Universidad de Cadiz in Spain. She has taught at schools in Pennsylvania and New York.

Kathryn Harris recently taught Spanish at Holy Name High School in Worcester and joins our staff in the same role. Ms. Harris served as World Language Department Chair.

Kaitlyn Kelly ‘09 will join our English Department. Ms. Kelly recently taught English at Somerset-Berkley High School and has her Master’s Degree in School Counseling. Ms. Kelly is a proud Feehan alum as well.

MaryEllen Medeiros most recently taught Mathematics for 10 years in Taunton Public Schools. Before that, Ms. Medeiros also taught at St. Mary’s Primary School in Taunton. She will be a member of our Math Department.

Martin O’Brion most recently served as the Innovation and Marketing Director for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Mr. O’Brion comes to us with over 14 years experience in brand strategy, team management and creative production. Mr. O’Brion joins our Social Studies Department with a primary focus in our economics and business courses.

Sr. Lisa Palazio, SSD most recently taught Theology at Bishop Connolly High School. Sr. Palazio also served as principal of the Academy of St. Dorothy for two years as well as a Guidance and Admissions Counselor at Our Lady of Fatima High School. Sr. Palazio joins our Theology Department as a long-term substitute.


Feehan’s Director of Guidance, Ms. Rhonda Laliberte, has added a new counselor to her office: 

Laura Doliber joins our Guidance Department after successfully completing her Master of Education in Guidance. Previously she taught at Saint Margaret School  in Rumford, RI for 21 years and the Sylvan Learning Center as an SAT Coach for five years.

Long-time guidance staffer, Mr. John Horack, will be working with Mrs. Doliber through the first semester to help our Class of 2021 seniors through their college searches.


Finally, Feehan’s Director of Advancement, Mr. Dave Curtis, has added three new members to his growing team:  

Michael Dibbert will serve as an Assistant Director of Advancement. He earned a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Boston College. He brings 17 years of experience as an administrator, teacher, and coach, including roles at Saint John School (Wellesley), The American School in Switzerland, and B.C. High. 

Shawna Igoe, P'21, '24 has over 11 years experience in customer support, relationship development, management and business development having worked at PMC Sierra and International Business Machine. Mrs. Igoe is our Director of Alumni and Volunteer Engagement.

Michael Vitelli, P'23 most recently served as an Assistant Principal at Xaverian Brothers High School and joins our staff as an Assistant Director of Advancement. Mr. Vitelli is also our Head Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as the Head Coach for the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team.
