For RENEWAL Applicants:
As a returning volunteer, you are already registered with One Feehan Volunteers and completed the Safe Environment Training which is good for six years for all Fall River Diocese entities.
You now need to complete the annual CORI document and read & sign the Pastoral Code of Conduct.
1. Annual CORI Renewal Document: The CORI background check is only good for 1 year and must be renewed annually.
a. Complete a CORI background check form (download here
). Please include all 10 years of past residency.
c. If you would like to take a picture of these documents using a mobile device and email them as a PDF, please follow these directions
2. Pastoral Code of Conduct
b. Print and sign the last page of the Pastoral Code of Conduct (or download here
d. If you would like to take a picture of these documents using a mobile device and email them as a PDF, please follow these directions
4. ATTENTION RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS: All Rhode Island residents need to submit a disclaimer, allowing us permission to request an out-of-state background check. This form will be notarized by Lauren Cayer, Business Manager.
c. Alternatively, you may deliver the disclaimer to Alison Badhwar in the Advancement Office.
d. Please do not take a picture of these documents with a mobile device for submission. The quality is not acceptable to be notarized.
Once all are submitted and the CORI process is finalized– you're all set! Your CORI status will be marked as "yes" in our One Feehan Volunteers software system, and then volunteer leaders will be able to reach out to you.
We know this is a bit of paperwork and time (thank you!), but we also know that the protection of our kids makes this worthwhile.
If you have questions about volunteering at Feehan or volunteer training requirements, please reach out to Alison Badhwar at: email@example.com
