Sisters of Mercy Invited to First Liturgy of the Year

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate Mercy Day - Feehan's first Liturgy of the year, yesterday. From Bishop Da Cunha to Father Dave Costa to our musically talented students, from the National Honor Society who put on a great "Tea" luncheon to our most honored guests: the Sisters of Mercy; the Feehan Family was enriched by the reverence and joy demonstrated this day! We welcomed "home" Sister Faith Harding, Sister Jessica Aguiar, Sister Margaret Heaney, Sister Barbara Cote, Sister Rose Marie Rocha, Sister Maureen McElroy and Sister Rose McLellan who celebrated 60 years with the Sisters of Mercy! We also welcomed Mercy Associates Dottie Piantedosi, Margaret Boucher, and Anne Meloni. This year, we invited Sister Maureen Mitchel, Sister Patricia Flynn and Sister Patricia Moriarty from the Sisters of Mercy Administrative Offices in Cumberland.

"Today was a beautiful day on Holcott Drive; there is no other way to describe it," commented Feehan president Tim Sullivan. "We had 1100 kids celebrating Mass with joy. We had such a nice homily and presence from our Bishop. We honored women who have given their lives to our Church and our kids and our school."
