5/5 The Mother Daughter Paint Brunch is coming up on Sunday May 5th at 11 am in the Bishop Feehan Cafeteria. There will be a light brunch, coffee, tea, and juice. After brunch, everyone will create their very own original painting to take home, led by one of our art teachers. Each ticket is $40, and you must purchase your tickets online prior to Friday, April 26th, just go to the Feehan website, click Quick Links, and then School Store. No tickets available at the door. 5/10 The Freshman-Sophomore Semi-Formal Dance will be held at the enVision Hotel in Mansfield, MA, from 7:00-10:00 PM.  This year’s event will be open to Bishop Feehan students only.
Ticket Information:  Tickets will be available for purchase through the Feehan online store beginning Thursday, March 21st.  The cost for each ticket is $50. The ticket website will close promptly at 5:00 PM on Monday, April 22.  Please be attentive to the deadline, as there will not be an extension.
Dress Code: Since this is a semi-formal event, we require proper and modest dress.
●        Typical dress for boys is a shirt and tie. A jacket is not required; however, if your son would like to wear one, please make sure his name is in the collar so that it can be easily identified at the end of the night.
●        Bare midriffs, plunging necklines, and extremely short or backless dresses are not acceptable in a girl’s dress. I ask that you address this with your child to prevent an embarrassing situation the night of the event.
Important Student Policies:
●        Students must arrive at the dance by 7:30 PM, and may not leave until 9:30 PM. If pre-semi pictures must be taken and dates have to be transported long distances, please plan accordingly.
●        Please use the back entrance to the hotel ballroom when dropping your child off and picking him/her up. No students will be admitted through the main entrance to the hotel.
●        All students are required to show their Feehan ID for admittance to the dance.
●        If a student is found to be in possession or under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, we will confiscate the substance and contact you. Violators will be subject to jurisdiction of the Taunton Police, as well as the school’s Controlled Substance Policy, as outlined on page 22 & 23 on the Student Handbook.
●        Since this dance is held in a hotel, I would be remiss if I did not mention that it is inappropriate for our students to be allowed to stay on site after the dance. Therefore, all students must leave the premises immediately after the dance.
●        Bishop Feehan High School does not promote or encourage post-event parties. If you should choose to have guests at your home, please know your liability.
●        Please be aware that Massachusetts State Law has a driver curfew for new drivers (less than 6 months) from midnight to 5:00 AM.

4/11 For anyone who is competitive and loves a good time, the Student Council is hosting our first annual Spring Cornhole Tournament on April 11 at 5:00 PM. This is the Thursday before April break, so what better wait to sail into your vacation? Teams of two will compete to see who will reign supreme as Feehan's most talented tosser of the beanbag! Sign up to play though your homeroom rep today. We're looking forward to a fun tournament!

My School Lunch Accounts:  Parent(s) of each new student should have received an email inviting them to set up an account. This is the preferred method for payment in the cafeteria.  This account uses the student ID barcode. Freshmen and transfer students who have not been issued an ID may use their name or unique ID number at the register only until IDs are issued.  Please note if a student presents an ID for payment without having opened an account, it will automatically sign that student up.  Debit cards and credit cards/Apple pay are also accepted.  

Lost & Found:  Please check the last classroom/room you were in, the windowsills and front corner of the lunchroom, the locker room lost and found buckets, on the stadium concession stand outside counter, and Welcome Center. Did your friend pick it up being nice?  Did you ask your teacher?  Please note items left outside are only kept until the end of the week, items brought to the Welcome Center are only kept 2 weeks.  Please claim your items quickly or they may be tossed or donated.

Gently used uniforms:  If you are in need of some pieces, please come to the Welcome Center. We also have tights for purchase - $7, cash or check only.
