Bishop Feehan Student Wins Statewide PSA Contest with Powerful Message on Teen Driving Safety

The screen lit up and a wave of pride swept through Bishop Feehan High School as the community gathered in the Innovation & Arts Center Lucchetti Atrium to witness the premiere of a powerful student-created public service announcement (PSA). Written by senior Olivia “Ollie” Guglielmi ’25, the commercial promoting safe teen driving was unveiled in a special ceremony celebrating her first-place finish in the prestigious 2025 High School PSA Contest, sponsored by Fundación MAPFRE and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT).

The PSA, professionally produced by CTP Boston and filmed on campus at the Doran Arts Center, stood out among entries from 35 schools across the state for its emotional resonance and creative storytelling. It was a proud and inspiring moment for Ollie—and a celebration of student voice and real-world impact for the entire Feehan community.

Representatives from MAPFRE, MassDOT, and CTP Boston attended the premiere to honor Ollie’s achievement and highlight the value of youth-led advocacy in promoting road safety.

Now in its third year, the PSA contest challenges Massachusetts high school students to craft compelling scripts that encourage safe driving habits among their peers. Ollie’s submission captured the judges’ attention with its emotional depth, originality, and relevance—ultimately taking top honors.
