POSITION OVERVIEW
Bishop Feehan High School seeks a visionary, student-centered Senior Director of School & College Counseling to lead a revitalized and reimagined counseling office aimed at delivering a best-in-class, personalized, data-informed, and future-focused academic and college counseling experience for every student and family.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the School & College Counseling Department, aligning departmental goals with the school’s broader mission and values.
- Program Development: Define and lead a four-year, school-wide counseling model that honors the individuality of each student, balancing academic performance, personal interests, and long-term goals.
- College Planning: Build an organized and inspirational college planning journey for students and families—structured through calendars, milestones, and developmental touchpoints from freshman to senior year.
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of seven experienced counseling professionals, fostering both professional growth and mission-driven collaboration.
- Academic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Vice Principal for Academics to align academic offerings and student schedules with evolving college and career pathways.
- College Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges and universities; advocate for students and stay current on trends in college admissions.
- Data Utilization: Use data and technology tools to track student outcomes and continuously improve counseling programs based on research, results, and student/family feedback.
- Community Engagement: Lead information sessions, college nights, and workshops that support students and parents throughout the high school experience.
- Professional Representation: Represent Bishop Feehan at professional conferences and in college counseling networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in school counseling, education, student development, or a related field is preferred but not required. We value experience, innovation, and leadership from a variety of professional paths.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in counseling, college admissions, academic advising, or youth development with evidence of strategic leadership and successful program impact.
- Admissions Knowledge: Deep understanding of the college admissions process and the ability to guide students through a wide range of postsecondary options.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for inspiring trust among students, families, and colleagues.
- Mission Alignment: Strong commitment to Catholic education and alignment with the values and mission of Bishop Feehan High School.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Schedule: This is a full-time, 44-week administrative/leadership position.
- Availability: Some evening and weekend availability required for parent programs and school events.
- Community Participation: Active participation in the full life of the school is expected.

Position Overview:
The Physical Education/Health/Intramurals & Recreation Teacher will be responsible for teaching a comprehensive curriculum in Physical Education and Health to high school sophomore all-boy classes and leading a robust culture of after-school intramurals and/or recreation opportunities for our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for encouraging physical fitness, healthy living, and well-being in students, while also being committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. The teacher will work collaboratively to run a vibrant after-school intramurals/recreation program with at least two opportunities per week for Feehan students. Some of these opportunities will involve this staffer supervising the actual activities; others will involve this staffer recruiting/coordinating other adults to offer their own programs..
Certification as a strength and fitness trainer is greatly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote the values and mission of Bishop Feehan High School, integrating faith and character development into the curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lessons in Physical Education and Health that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach students a range of skills, including fitness, sports, health education, nutrition, and mental health awareness.
- In conjunction with the Health/PE chairperson, plan and lead an after-school intramurals & recreation program at least twice per week, encouraging students to participate in a variety of sports and physical activities.
- Participate in school-wide events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to support the Catholic worldview and mission of a diocesan Roman Catholic school.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in Physical Education or Health Education preferred (State Certification, if applicable).
- Prior experience teaching Physical Education and/or Health at the high school level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, nutrition, and wellness principles.
- Experience leading or coaching extracurricular programs, particularly in sports or physical activities, is a plus.
- Ability to engage and inspire students with varying levels of ability and motivation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture.
- Enthusiasm for collaboration with colleagues, students, and families.

Innovation Teacher
Bishop Feehan High School is searching for a talented, enthusiastic, mission-driven technology teacher, to expand and enhance our current computer science program.
We offer a brand-new 10,000sf Innovation Center and we are seeking someone who can bring their passion to Feehan and help set the direction for and inspire our 1,100 students with academic offerings from beginner to advanced.
Our opening can fit you, whether your specialty is engineering, software, coding, robotics, game design and/or application design. If you’re a talented technologist with an interest in sharing your passion with our students, we want to talk to you.
Our current offerings include: Computer Science, database and operating systems, programming languages, computer networks, AI, cybersecurity, computer graphics.
Possible curricular expansion might include: mobile app development, data science and analytics, software engineering, human-computer interaction, and theory of computation.
The successful candidate will be able to support the teaching of our established courses as well as develop curriculum in some of these areas, or other innovative areas related to your passion and expertise.
A Bachelor's degree is required. Teaching certification and teaching experience is preferred. However, the right candidate with significant experience in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is most welcome to apply.
