Bishop Feehan High School is searching for a talented, enthusiastic, mission-driven digital media teacher, as we take our next steps towards developing a best-in-region Business & Innovation offering for our students.

We have a brand-new 10,000sf Innovation Center that includes space and resources for a growing digital media program. Our program is fairly new, and we are looking for someone who is adept in digital media production who can grow the program into a larger one, with the full support and enthusiasm of school administration. Our opening can fit you, whether your specialty is in film and video production, editing, cinematography techniques, photography, editing, graphic design and/or visual communication strategies. You may also have expertise in web based content management systems, video optimization and/or archival techniques.

Bring your passion to Feehan and help set the direction for and inspire our 1,100 students with academic offerings from beginner to advanced.

This position will certainly include classroom teaching and will optimally also include facilitating after-school club(s) for enthusiastic and interested students. Likewise, there is a great opportunity in future years for developing summer camp programming, if desired.

A Bachelor's degree is required. Teaching certification and teaching experience is preferred.  However, the right candidate with significant experience in a related discipline is most welcome to apply.

We are seeking a high school science teacher generalist— physics, chemistry, biology, and elective courses. If you have experience and interest in one or more of these areas, we would love to hear from you. We do not expect you to have capacity across all these areas, and we do not assign excessive preps to our teachers. This is an opportunity for flexibility over time.

Whether you are a new or veteran teacher, if you would like to teach in a school where students are motivated and respectful, administration is supportive, peers are positive and helpful, and school culture is spirited, we encourage you to inquire.

Our successful candidate must be able to support the mission of a diocesan Catholic high school. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Masters and teacher certification/licensure preferred. Experience with general science instruction that may include but is not limited to physics, chemistry, biology, and elective courses such as emergency medicine.
