Early Action

Middle school is a transformative time for students and offers many opportunities for personal growth and development. Believing strongly in the value of the middle school experience, Bishop Feehan is pleased to offer an Early Action program to our partner school students. This allows current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students to apply and secure a seat in advance for freshman year of high school.

Applications are accepted October 15-May 15. Our Early Action application is easy! While students and families apply the same way as 8th grade students, the Early Action application is much shorter.

Upon review and acceptance a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Acceptances are conditional on students remaining in our partner schools and remaining successful academically, behaviorally, and spiritually. Traditional 8th grade application process (including entrance exam) is required to finalize your student's acceptance for high school. 

 

1. Create a Ravenna family account. Select Bishop Feehan High School from the School Directory.

*Note: Early Action applicants must apply as Grade 9 for Fall 2025. Student's actual grade level will be entered appropriately on application. 

 

2. Choose "Early Action for Partner Schools (current 5th, 6th and 7th Grade Students ONLY) 

Students remaining in their current middle school and applying early to Bishop Feehan, benefit in many ways, including:

  • Continued instruction by middle school specialists 
  • Experience opportunities to mature and become leaders in current school community
  • Focus on middle school and be free from the pressure of planning ahead for high school 
  • Transition slowly to the Feehan community through special Early Action events and activities
  • Enjoy free or discounted admission to Feehan sporting events and performances
