Phil Silva - Clinic Director
 
In his sixteenth seasons as Head Coach of the Bishop Feehan Girls’ Soccer Program, the team has compiled an 263-26-15 record. The team has won sixteen consecutive League titles. The team has reached the Final Four the last three full seasons. The team captured its first state title in 2019. During that time, the program has been recognized regionally and nationally by United Soccer Coaches: including four top 25 national final polls.
 
Coach Silva has coached at the premier club level and continues to work with area clubs.  He is currently the Director of Coaching for Attleboro Lions FC developing their youth program.  Previous he worked with Nova Premier Soccer, and the RI Rays SC.  During that time, he coaches three NECSL Champions, three RI State Champions, four State finalists.  His team’s has won numerous tournaments throughout the East coast.
 
Coach Silva has also worked with the Rhode Island Olympic Development Program. During his time with ODP, he worked with a number of regional players. In 2005, his team became the only RI team in 20 years to reach the ODP Regional Semifinals. In November 2005, the team won the prestigious Texas Cup.
 
Coach Silva holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF C License. He has worked and run a number of soccer camps and clinics in SE Mass and RI. Coach Silva earned a M.Ed. from Providence College and works as a school counselor at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, RI.
 
Mike Pariseau - Assistant Director
 
Coach Pariseau has been in charge of the the Boys program for over 20 seasons and was recently named to the Massachusetts Boys Soccer Hall of Fame. During that time Bishop Feehan Boys Program has won the League Championship in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 and advanced to the 2016 South Sectional Finalists.
 
Youth Clinic
 
The half-day youth academy focuses on fundamental skill development, core soccer skills (dribbling, receiving, passing and shooting) and understanding tactical principles of the game (1v1 attacking, dealing with pressure, defending, decision making). Each day will end with small-sided games in a fun tournament style format. All players will be taught proper techniques for each soccer skill and concept learned. Participants will be grouped according to age and ability.

4:30 - 5:00 - WARM-UP; GROUP BUILDING EXERCISES
 
5:00 - 6:00 FOCUSED INDIVIDUAL SKILL
 
DEVELOPMENT AND BASIC TACTICAL PRINCIPLES
 
6:00 - 6:15 – BREAK
 
6:15 - 7:30 – SMALL SIDED GAMES
 
THURSDAY SCHEDULE: full sided games (age–appropriate), Coaches v. Campers match: a skills competition and pizza party.
