Bishop Feehan High School Announces Top Students in Class of 2026

With preparations fully underway for a May 28th graduation, Bishop Feehan High School proudly announces its top-ranked students in the Class of 2026 with a special focus on the school’s latest Valedictorian, Salutatorian and Tree Dedicator (third-ranked student). Four years of academic excellence, along with active involvement across all of Feehan’s many extra-curricular offerings are the common denominator.   

The top ten students (alphabetically) are: Alexander Bove (Wrentham, MA), Catarina Carvalho (Attleboro, MA), Maxwell Comey (Foxboro, MA), Moira Cosgrove (Mansfield, MA), Ryan Ford (Wrentham, MA), Sydney Merhige (North Attleboro, MA), Xyden Procaccianti (North Attleboro, MA), Ananyaa Sunil (Wrentham, MA), Cassandra White (North Attleboro, MA).

More specifically, Feehan can now share its top-three students, who each will have featured speaking opportunities during the graduation-day events: Valedictorian Alexander Bove, Salutatorian Moira Cosgrove and Tree Dedicator Ananyaa Sunil.   

“Alexander, Moira and Ananyaa, and the entire Feehan Class of 2026 make their soon-to-be alma mater incredibly proud,” said Feehan President Tim Sullivan. “These students arrived at Feehan four years ago and helped strengthen our community through their leadership, character, and commitment to others. Their accomplishments reflect the very best of Feehan, and we look forward to celebrating them at our upcoming senior events and watching them represent Feehan with pride for years to come.”

Salutatorian Moira Cosgrove, Valedictorian Alexander Bove and Tree Dedicator Ananyaa Sunil

 

Valedictorian

Alexander Bove, the son of Dr. Michael and Mrs. Suzanne Bove of Wrentham, MA and member of St. Mary’s Parish in Wrentham, has been named Valedictorian of the Bishop Feehan High School Class of 2026.

AlexanderRanking first in his class out of 249 students, Alexander has earned a 4.68 on a weighted scale while pursuing the most rigorous curriculum offered at Bishop Feehan High School, including 12 Advanced Placement courses.

Throughout his high school career, Alexander’s academic achievements have earned him membership in the National subject honor societies of English, Latin, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Spanish, as well as the Mercy Chapter of the National Honor Society.

Alexander has been an active member of the Bishop Feehan community. He has demonstrated leadership as a member of the Student Council, and through his involvement in the Boy Scouts, where he has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Alexander’s commitment to service is evident through his volunteer work with St. Joseph Food Pantry. He is quite civic-minded, spending time collecting signatures for local elections, and has been honored with membership in the 2025 Calvin Coolidge Senators Program.

Alexander is also an accomplished musician, having studied piano for over 12 years and often sharing his gift at the annual Bishop Feehan Talent Show.

In the fall, Alexander will continue his studies at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he plans to pursue a major in Electrical Engineering.

Salutatorian

Moira Cosgrove, the daughter of Mr. Ed and Mrs. Sarah Cosgrove of Mansfield, MA and member of St. Mary’s Parish in Mansfield, has been named Salutatorian of the Bishop Feehan High School Class of 2026.

MoiraRanking second out of 249 students, Moira has earned a 4.66 on a weighted scale while pursuing the most rigorous curriculum offered at Bishop Feehan High School.

Throughout her high school career, Moira’s academic excellence has earned her membership in multiple National subject honor societies of English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Spanish. She is also the President of the Mercy Chapter of the National Honor Society.

Moira has been an integral part of the Bishop Feehan community; as a student-athlete, she is a leader on the basketball court as a member of the varsity team and is a sprinter on the varsity track team. She also serves as Campus Ministry Senior Associate.

Moira’s commitment to service is demonstrated through her work with the Special Olympics, where she served as a leader, and as a volunteer counselor at Camp Sunshine, supporting children with chronic medical conditions and their families. Moira is also involved in the Pre-Med Club, reflecting her interest in pursuing a career in the medical field.

In the fall, Moira will continue her studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in the honors college, where she plans to pursue a nursing major on a pre-med track.

Tree Dedicator (Third-Ranked Student)

Ananyaa Sunil, the daughter of Mrs. Sreenivasan and Mr. Yoganathan of Wrentham, MA, has been named the Tree Dedicator for the Bishop Feehan High School Class of 2026.

AnanyaaRanking third out of 246 students, Ananyaa has earned a 4.64 cumulative weighted grade point average while challenging herself with the most rigorous curriculum offered at Bishop Feehan High School.

Throughout her high school career, Ananyaa’s exceptional academic work has garnered her the following honor societies: National Honor Society, Science, Spanish, English, Social Studies, and Math.

Ananyaa has also been an integral part of the Bishop Feehan school community. She has participated in Student Council for the past three years, competed on both the Math Team and Robotics Team, and was elected Co-President of the Pre-Med Club. 

Ananyaa’s community service work demonstrates her commitment to serving those around her. She has volunteered at Miriam Hospital, Camp Sunshine, and CreateforKids during her time here. 

Ananyaa is also an accomplished varsity athlete as a four year member and captain of the Fencing Team. 

For all of Ananyaa’s outstanding academic achievements, she was awarded the Rensselaer Medal from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Saint Anselm College Book Award. 

In the fall, Ananyaa will continue her studies at Cornell University, where she will pursue Biological Studies, with plans to attend medical school.
