Freshmen
      • Meet with your counselor quarterly to discuss your academic performance & course scheduling
      • Learn how to effectively balance academics with extracurricular involvement
      • Begin identifying long term goals
      • Take the PSAT in October
 Sophomores
      • Meet with your counselor quarterly
      • Maintain good grades; seek to progress academically
      • Activate your Naviance account and begin creating your college/career profile
      • Begin drafting your resume within Naviance
      • Discuss and outline your junior and senior year curricula with your counselor
      • Begin attending college fairs and touring campuses in the spring
      • Take the PSAT in the fall
Juniors
      • Meet with your counselor quarterly
      • Take part in your Junior Family Meeting
      • Take the PSAT in the fall, SAT and/or ACT in the spring
      • Discuss your senior year curriculum with your counselor
      • Continue to attend college fairs, take campus tours, and research colleges via Naviance
      • Identify reach, target, and safety schools
      • Utilize “College Visit Days” as excused absences for campus tours & info sessions
      • Build and fine tune your resume
      • Research pre-college summer programs
Seniors
      • Meet with your counselor quarterly
      • Summer: Create a Common App profile and add colleges to which you’re applying
      • Begin submitting applications in September/October
      • Continue to attend college fairs, campus tours, and financial aid information sessions
      • Utilize “College Visit Days” as excused absences for campus tours & info sessions
      • Take the SAT and/or ACT in the fall, if necessary
      • Send standardized test scores directly to colleges
      • Have your family submit all necessary Financial Aid paperwork on time
      • Submit your enrollment deposit by May 1 and “Ring the bell!”
