Scholarships 2025-2026

Foxboro Cable Access is now accepting applications for the 2026 FCA Scholarship. This $1,000 annual award supports Foxborough residents who are pursuing their post-secondary education in the field of communications.

This scholarship was established in 2021 to honor the life and legacy of Jason D. Buffington and to recognize his unwavering dedication to Taunton West Little League.

Applicants must be a graduating senior from an area high school and be a TWLL alumnus.
Must also demonstrate a strong commitment to baseball and/or youth sports.

The Foxborough Commission on Disability (FCOD) is announcing two $2,500 scholarships for Foxborough residents to further their education or career.

 Two $2,500 annual awards support Foxborough residents:

•  one for an individual with a disability pursuing higher education.

• one for an individual who is pursuing their post-secondary education in the Field of Disabilities, defined here as including public health, rehabilitation, therapeutic fields, special education, disability studies or a field related to disability and health. 

The Peter A. Gay Scholarship will benefit a graduating senior from any of the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fall River.

Mr. Gay was born and raised in Taunton. He graduated from Monsignor James Coyle High School with honors in 1964, and was a 1969 graduate of Northeastern University where he received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and went on to work at Raytheon Company.

Mr. Gay was a Raytheon Company vice president in charge of the company’s West Coast facility when he boarded American Airlines Flight 11 the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 for his regular travel from Boston. To honor his legacy, his family established this scholarship in his name.

Graduating high school seniors from any of the high schools in the Diocese of Fall River (Bishop Feehan, Bishop Stang and St. John Paul II) who plan to attend college and major in engineering are eligible to apply.
