Shamrock Co-Ed Soccer Academy – Youth Camp

In his fifteen seasons as Head Coach of the Bishop Feehan Girls’ Soccer Program, the team has compiled an 267- 27-15 record. The team has won fifteen consecutive League titles, and reached the D1 State Finals this past season. The team has reached the Final Four the last three full seasons. The team captured its first state title in 2019. During that time, the program has been recognized regionally and nationally by United Soccer Coaches: including four top 25 national final polls.
 
Coach Silva has coached at the premier club level and continues to work with area programs. He currently works with the Nova Premier Club with the youth academy and developing boys program. The last three seasons his teams have won the NECSL Championship. At the club level, he has coached three State Champions and four State Finalists. His teams have won numerous tournaments including 2022 Nordic Cup, 2019 GPS Summer Showcase, 2018 GPS Thanksgiving Invitational; 2017 Seaside Classic; 2016 NEFC November Cup, 2016 FC Dutchmen Invitational, 2015 GPS Father’s Day Showcase; 2012 GPS College Showcase, 2011 MPS Thanksgiving Showcase, 2011 Oakwood Invitational, 2010 NKFD Classic, 2009 Bandits Cup, 2009 Scorpion Bowl, 2008 Oakwood Invitational, 2008 Scorpion Bowl, 2007 Nashua WC, 2007 Seaside Classic, 2007 Needham Memorial Day along with numerous indoor league titles, indoor tournaments and outdoor finals appearances.
 
Coach Silva has also worked with the Rhode Island Olympic Development Program. During his time with ODP, he worked with a number of regional players. In 2005, his team became the only RI team in 20 years to reach the ODP Regional Semifinals. In November 2005, the team won the prestigious Texas Cup.
 
Coach Silva holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF C License. He has worked and run a number of soccer camps and clinics in SE Mass and RI. Coach Silva earned a M.Ed. from Providence College and works as a school counselor at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, RI.
 
Mike Pariseau - Assistant Director
 
Coach Pariseau has been in charge of the the Boys program for over 20 seasons and was recently named to the Massachusetts Boys Soccer Hall of Fame. During that time Bishop Feehan Boys Program has won the League Championship in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 and advanced to the 2016 South Sectional Finalists.
 
Youth Camp
 
The half-day youth academy focuses on fundamental skill development, core soccer skills (dribbling, receiving, passing and shooting) and understanding tactical principles of the game (1v1 attacking, dealing with pressure, defending, decision making). Each day will end with small-sided games in a fun tournament style format. All players will be taught proper techniques for each soccer skill and concept learned. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability.

10:45- 12:00 – SMALL SIDED GAMES
 
FRIDAY SCHEDULE: full sided games (age–appropriate), Coaches v. Campers match: a skills competition and pizza party.
