Strength & Conditioning

This camp will be coached by Mike Poidomani, owner and operator of MJP Strength and Conditioning and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Bishop Feehan.  A 32 year veteran of Strength and Conditioning, Mike Poidomani is the former Director of Strength and Conditioning at Boston College and Western Michigan.  Assisted by both Feehan and MJP Staff this camp is loaded with experienced coaches looking forward to developing your son/daughter.

All participants should be prepared to work hard.  The sessions will be 1:15 in duration.  The components of the workout will be a dynamic warm-up, linear, lateral, and multi directional footwork, core strengthening, explosive power movements, strength movements, work capacity and conditioning, flexibility/mobility, and proven injury prevention movements.  The goal of this camp is to give the athletes a great workout, introducing them and teaching them proper lifting techniques, holding them accountable to the hard work and the accountability it takes to get their bodies ready to play their chosen sports.  This is a camp for athletes that wants to develop, want to be coached, and want to be pushed.

All campers should adhere to the following:

1.  Proper Footwear.  Athletes should be in supportive athletic sneakers.  The athletes should also bring cleats as well for work on the turf.

2.  All athletes should have plenty of water.  It’s suggested that they bring a water bottle that can be refilled.
