This camp will be coached in tandem by Mike Poidomani, owner and operator of MJP Strength and Conditioning and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Bishop Feehan and Teresa Poidomani, Bishop Feehan’s Sprint and Jump Coach. A 32 year veteran of Strength and Conditioning, Mike Poidomani is the former Director of Strength and Conditioning at Boston College and Western Michigan. Teresa Poidomani, a recent graduate from University of Iowa in the Exercise Science Department has interned at Boston College Olympic Sports teams and University of Iowa Football team. We will also be assisted by other Feehan Coaches and MJP assistant coaches. We are all excited to coach your son/daughters
 
All participants should be prepared to work hard. The sessions will be 1:15 minutes in duration. The goal of this program is to improve running technique, to become faster linearly and, laterally, and multi directionally. The Athletes will be put through the following; a dynamic warm-up, technique work, acceleration drills, Linear, Lateral, and multi-directional drill work, core strengthening, Explosive Power Movements- Ie Plyometrics, Flexibility/Mobility and exercises proven to reduce injury. The goal of this camp is to give the athletes a great workout, introducing them and teaching them proper running technique, holding them accountable to the hard work and accountability it takes to get their body’s movement with better form and running faster and changing direction better for their chosen sports.  This is a camp for an athlete that wants to develop their speed, agility and quickness and for those that want to be coached, and wants to be pushed.
 
All campers should adhere to the following:
1. Proper Footwear. Athletes should be in supportive athletic sneakers for track work. Should bring cleats along for turf work and change of direction work.
2. All athletes should have plenty of water.
