Shamrock Girls Volleyball Introductory Clinic

For girls entering grades 8-9 interested in learning how to play and improve their skills. Our directors, coaches and counselors strive to provide a fun, competitive atmosphere for athletes of all levels. Our goal is to teach all six volleyball-specific skills (passing, setting, serving, hitting, blocking and defense). We will utilize small-sided games of 3 v 3 and 4 v 4 to teach movement and spacing while progressing towards full court play.  


Clinic Objectives

  • Forearm Passing, Serving, Setting (Overhead Pass)
  • Attacking, Blocking, Defense
  • Defense (movement and position)
  • Transition from offense to defense
  • Strategy + reading
  • Volleyball IQ/rules
